The basic building block of nylon is an aliphatic polyamide linked by an amide bond - [NHCO]-. It is an important synthetic fiber. Nylon 6 slice is based on caprolactam as raw material adding a certain amount of additives, under certain process conditions for polymerization and after the injection of the tape, cutting granules, extraction and vacuum drying and other processes and made of polymer compounds. Nylon slice that is nylon production due to its low melt strength of the use of granulation method obtained from the flake granulation products.

About Physical Properties: Polyamide 6 chips, commonly known as nylon 6 chips, nylon 6 chips. Because the macromolecule contains an amide bond (a CO-NH one), so it is called polyamide. Nylon 6 slice is usually white columnar particles, melting point of 210-220 ℃, decomposition temperature of about 300 ℃. It is soluble in phenol and hot concentrated sulfuric acid, with good electrical insulation properties, alkali resistance and corrosion resistance.
